29 week update

So I had a doctors appointment today and everything went well again! The baby is doing well. His heartbeat was 136-138 bpm and he has been very active. Last night Mike looked at my stomach and was in awe of how lopsided I was. My left side was hanging down further then my right side. It was funky looking! I am measuring 29 cm from pelvis to top of the uterus. I have gained 11 lbs since last month and that is not good! My doctor said it is too much but she isn't prescribing a diet. She just wants me to be aware of what I am eating and drinking. Hopefully I won't be too obese! I talked to her about my heart palpatations and she thinks I might have acid reflux. She gave me a prescription for Pepsid and will monitor me for the next two weeks ( I am now in my third trimester and will visit the doc's every two weeks). She said if the medicine doesn't work then I will need to get an EKG and go on a heart monitor to see if it is something else. Hopefully it is nothing. At times, it just feels like my heart is going to explode clownheads and I start coughing because I can't breathe. Lots of pregnant women have heart palpatations and their hearts race but my heart actually slows down and sometimes my body feels weak. I think it is because my baby is so big that he is resting on an artery? It is very random. I am praying that it isn't anything to worry about. Well, the child is now kicking me simultaneously in my ribs and bladder and I have to use the facilities! So I am signing off until my next dr.'s appt. Thanks for your prayers and thoughts!
Love to all,
Mike, Stacey, and baby boy!

26.5 weeks

Good morning everyone! Since our summer vacation has started, I will be able to keep up with this site more. I just have to say that I am so glad I am a teacher and have the summer off to get get ready for next year and take numerous classes and hone my skill as a teacher (ummm, yes this is all I do all summer long...there is no relaxing and sleeping in). That last comment was for Missy. She hates when I am on vacation. It gets her gull!
Everything is going well with the baby boy. I feel him swimming around down there all the time and I think he is about to venture into the rib cage area. I think I felt a little tap there yesterday. I heard that once this happens, I may not appreciate all his movements. I'm not to sure about that because I love feeling him all the time! My next doctor's appointment is June 25th. I have a glucose sugar test coming up soon and I am not looking foward to it. I heard it taste awful...like orange soda with no fizz.
We are heading out this evening to upstate NY to spend sometime with Grandmmie and Grandpa. I am looking forward to the visit but not that long drive. A 5.5 hour drive is going to take more like 7 hours because of the leg cramps and all the pee stops. Keep me in your prayers as we drive. After the drive, I will be sooo excited to spend time time there then will again dread the ride back home. Does anyone have a helicoptor that I could borrow?
Thanks to everyone for all your prayers and thoughts for us the past few weeks. I hope everyone is doing well! Love to you all!
